Downstairs Description

The entrance to the property is at the front. As you enter the front door, there is an entry vestibule with a large double wardrobe on its right. This has a pole for coat hangers, with a shelf above for hats and other items.

The inner door of the vestibule leads directly into the spacious living room, approximately 18 feet 7 inches by 12 feet 4 inches at its maximum dimensions. The staircase, which protrudes slightly into the living room, is opposite the inner door. To the right of that and set back slightly is the door to a corridor which runs to the back door and rear garden. The corridor has the two storage rooms off to its left and the large kitchen dining room to its right.

Turning right into the living room you face the fitted electric fire at the far end of the length of the room. with the large picture window to your right and the wall separating the living room and the kitchen diner on your left.

The first storage room off the corridor is entirely located under the stairs. It is normal room height at the entrance, tapering downwards to zero height towards the front of the house.. There is a useful stone shelf with weight bearing capability across the width of the store room and splitting the taper.

The second storage room is at the rear and houses the electricity meter. It has a small window to the back of the house and a stone shelf beneath that. There is a high wooden shelf along the longest wall, probably eighteen inches from the ceiling.
